Justine Gurr is a resourceful and intuitive communications professional with an inherent knack for connecting and engaging people through the art of storytelling. She comes with a breadth of experience from various industries with particular strengths in social media management, copywriting, content development and event management.

Justine has extensive experience working in the health industry and has worked with the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA), a national association that represents the natural health industry in Canada. Her dedication helped move projects forward, and her ideas have been invaluable to the success of many of the organization’s communications initiatives.

During her time at Merkato, Justine has gained experience in media relations, securing media coverage for clients in the traditional and digital spaces. She has also taken the lead on client projects and delivered quality results while consistently meeting targets. Through her talents as a creative problem solver and a collaborative team player who strives for excellence, she hopes to continue advancing her skills and career as a communications professional.

Justine graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Applied Human Nutrition, and completed a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communications at Seneca College.
